The oversized one bedroom apartment has a king bed with sitting area and handcrafted built-in mahogany closet. The open living room floor plan offers a sitting area with TV/Cable & DVD player and dining table for four. Venetian travertine stone tile floor throughout with travertine stone countertops and sink. Wireless Internet & Bluetooth speaker also available.

Affordability meets luxury in this town loft apartment just steps to the restaurants, bars, dive shops and shopping of Cruz Bay located on the upper level of the Amore Center. A kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster/broiler oven, four burner stove top and handcrafted cabinets awaits you. Stop next door at St. John Provisions for grab-and-go breakfast and lunch or visit the at the nearby grocery store for the staples. Taxi or hike the National Park trails to the beach or ask us about rental vehicles which we also have available on site but be sure and reserve well in advance. In the evenings or roll down into Cruz Bay for happy hour and dinner.

The Amore Loft Apartment is located in the heart of Love City, St. John and is within walking distance to all the restaurants & shops in Cruz Bay.

    Artistically decorated with ceramic sconces made in our Studio below, Italian plastered walls & colorfully decorated with artwork from travels around the world, this is the perfect spot for a quick weekend get-away or an affordable extended winter retreat! All the luxury of one of our finest villas in an economical, yet stylish, in-town location.

    You will find all the basic necessities needed to make your vacation complete including air conditioning thru out, ceiling fans, blow dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your day at the beach are also provided.

    Below the apartment is our pottery studio, the Donald Schnell Studio, where we can offer you guidance on snorkeling, dining & other island activities if you so desire.

    We arrived on St. John USVI on November 10th after hurricanes Irma and Maria and stayed for 5 weeks at Debbie and Donald’s Amore Apartment in Cruz Bay. We are coming back in March, 2018. After coming to St. John for over 30 years, it was an experience we are glad we didn’t miss. We soon discovered that if you have a place to stay, there was every reason to come. The people were very positive and we made many new friends. Grocery stores were well stocked and restaurants were open. There was much recovery help from all over the US, other islands, countries and locally working 7 days a week. The progress made all over the island with hundreds of workers was astonishing. We went to the beautiful beaches of Honeymoon, Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinnamon and Francis Bay which are ready for visitors. We snorkeled at a favorite spot and found the reef in great condition. Trails are open and we hiked to Reef Bay, the Petroglyphs, White Cliffs, Rams Head, Lind Point to Honeymoon Beach and Waterlemon Cay. When you arrive, the Schnell’s apartments and villas are all in top shape and we had the privilege of a tour. Yes, there will still be signs of the hurricanes, but if you weren’t here, you will have no idea of all that has been accomplished to get the island and it’s beaches and trails ready for visitors. We are amazed at how the island’s vegetation has greened and have enjoyed the beautiful vistas. We look forward to our visits in 2018. We love St. John and its positive and resilient people.

    My family of four stayed at the Amore Loft Apartment June 3-6 2021. The apartment is perfect for a family. Gorgeous building near town. It felt like we were visiting relatives. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

    We truly enjoyed our week at the Amore Loft Suite!

    Every day, we’d pack a lunch and enjoy SJ’s beautiful beaches, then come back and hit the town at night.

    I’d especially recommend the Amore Loft to couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy Love City’s nightlife scene and have a quick and easy stroll home afterwards. The staff at Artistic Villas is the best – so helpful and friendly, and they really go out of their way to make you comfortable.

    Our relaxing stay in Cruz Bay

    We stayed in Artistic Villa loft apt. for a week in early Jan. 2019. Donald was so welcoming even though we arrived past 6pm. Our room was very nice and decorated beautifully. We had all we needed righ there and it was so nice to be able to walk into Cruz Bay. We did rent a car for a day to drive around the island. Taxis to the beaches are very available in Cruz Bay.
